POLK Stables

Indianapolis, IN

The POLK Stables, a three story, 21,000 square foot industrial building circa 1888, represents a transformative redevelopment opportunity in one of downtown Indianapolis’ most dynamic and diverse neighborhoods. Once the mule stables for the POLK Sanitary Milk Company complex, the building is now in serious despair.

The POLK Group’s vision is to bring the building back to life through a cross-pollination of arts and industry anchored by a sense of place. The Polk building is located in Indianapolis at 16th Street & the Monon Trail, which is the first Lift Indy neighborhood as well as an Opportunity Zone and Federal Promise Zone. Once restored, POLK Stables will house all of the POLK group initiatives as well as restaurants and event space.
